Environmental, social & corporate governance

At Romulus, we believe in a sustainable approach to office space.

As a locally based, family-owned company, we recognise that we have a great responsibility to do whatever we can to implement improvements across our portfolio. We are committed to doing what we can to find and support sustainable solutions.

From traditional office leases to flexible workspace, we are passionate about creating inspiring environments for our occupiers and members to flourish in – and we want them to feel good about where and how they work too.

As part of our approach, we repurpose existing buildings into design-led, quality workspaces for the modern occupier, significantly reducing our carbon emissions and negative impact on the environment.

When developing, we retain as much concrete structure as possible and upcycle fit outs by retaining and reusing quality materials. For example, reconditioning mechanical and electrical services (MEP) creates only 25% of the embodied carbon when compared with a brand new traditional fit out.
